The client was experiencing a high level of delay and standby times, exceeding expected levels of initial set up targets which were being recorded on their equipment fleet. By working with YCP Unison on data visualization of their existing fleet data, decisions could be made more easily that resulted in reduced delays.

YCP Unison worked with the client on improving three key areas of improvement by leveraging existing fleet data.

Improved data accessibility

Developed a Power BI-based application for PC and mobile devices that was easily accessible on- and off-site. Access for all supervision levels was granted to easily view the real time status of all equipment.

Aligned processes for tool utilization

Developed and implemented Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) on using the real time dashboard and on ways to leverage it to reduce lost time on site.

Training for enhanced supervision

Trained operational management and supervision on using the full functionality of the dashboard, coaching them on the interpretation of the statistical analyses offered and how to take immediate corrective action based on the data.

Our Approach

In collaboration with YCP Unison, a Power BI-based solution was implemented, giving all supervision levels access to the real time status of equipment. Through effective integration and data visualization of fleet data, immediate decision-making and action could be taken to reduce delays.
